We recently had a customer call from Belper in Derbyshire, who had several of the same frames which were large fit and he had become very comfortable in them, but was dismayed as Specsavers would not put a new prescription in them as a reglaze. These frames required a larger than average lens to fit them, but needless to say we were happy to manufacture new lenses (varifocals) for two of his frames of a larger diameter blank size. The results were great and the customers wife has now ordered her new glasses from us. Ironically, the gentlemans wife needed very narrow fitting ladies glasses frames which we also specialise in, and after choosing a style in plastic that suited her best for look and fit, she has happily ordered then with new lenses too.
